Everytime I click a pic, my computer auto loads it into Adobe Photshop. It is my default viewer.
If I were to upload the pics, would not there be a Adobe Photoshop string?

I don't know much about this stuff, so could you explain how this is a smoking gun?

And, as I said, potentially the reason the Flickr account was immediately "hacked" once the Photoshop (CS, not even Elements) evidence was available to anyone downloading the pictures.

Thats the point I've been making over and over again. In this day and age, photos can not be trusted anymore without corroborating evidence and witnesses to back them up. CGI and photoshop is the worst thing that has happened to Ufology in recent years. Give me the good ole days of 35mm cameras. The digital age is killing Ufology. Simply viewing a file in Photoshop won't add any metadata to the file. It would need to be saved within Photoshop for that to happen.

so rajman1977 either used photoshop to import the images off the camera memory stick or used photoshop to tweak the images.

or flickr does some wierd behind the scene conversions using a photoshop script or something - which is almost 100% unlikely.

or...hoax.

Thay is how I take photos off my camera I always import directly into photoshop. Its the only way I know how.

Here's a little distraction from the "smoking gun" :)

Many thanks to organelle for his font analysis. I've just tried to put these fonts together with the idea that simple primitives (strokes) where used to create the font. I also tried to square up the perspective on some images so that the font is viewed straight on.

I ignored the orientation because in my opinion since we are dealing with a possible alien -- they may not recognize orientation.

I also ignored the divide symbol and the tiny circle which seem like a 3D bolt/rivet because they don't fit into my model :)

Shown below is the separation from the two clearest sightings and which characters are repeated, common, unique and the entire set.

I noticed that the font could be made fairly easily with mostly the sword shape and a few simple dots, ovals, and lines.

I thought you'd enjoy the example :)

can we learn more about photoshop being mentioned in the meta-tags?

also, admin, that police chief did say there was a report in tahoe. he confirmed that by saying it right? so why did this "detective" say there were no sigtings and HE would know if there were? ?

blah blah blah..Therefore, even if the sighting was just outside of our city limits, I would know about it.

We as a police department need to investigate. I have sent a few emails to websites stating my name, position and interest in contacting the eye witnesses. Take care,

whats that i smell? could it be fish? maybe smoke? maybe BS? ::)

great, just what we need - a "detective" who already lied, working with earthfiles, mufon, and c2c.

wonderful.

i'de trust a police chief before i'de trust a detective.

ps does add metadata this way, but it depends on how you go about it.

if you strictly use ps to copy images from the memory stick to your hard drive, then no xmp info is added.

but if you import the image and just view it in photoshop and then file>save as a jpg the metadata is added, similiar to what's in rajman1977's.

also, if you do any editing to the imported image and then save it, the xmp info changes.

and i'm not seeing those subtle changes in rajmans.

soooo...what i thought might be a smoking gun, may in fact bolster the opinion that rajmans photos are legit.

i need to do some more tests with importing data off my cam and seeing what changes can be made to the xmp data...

i'm freakin' tired, i feel like i've been running a mental marathon for 3 weeks...

Yup--this apparent contradiction needs to be better understood. We'd need the full email from the chief, and the one he was responding to, to better understand the context.

I was wondering why TIFF was referenced in the body of the header on a JPG (You confirmed conversion does in fact occur). Believe in an earlier post I even ask WHY the files were NOT in TIFF format.

Well, if there IS a conversion going on, then the original TIFF files from the camera would be a big help. IF we ever hear back from Raj. (Thus answering another of my earlier questions; is the memory stick still a valuable item now that the hi-res pics are available? YES).

IMO, even if Raj is legit, now that admin has "released the hounds" (ie - sent the authorities looking for him), he may decide to lay low rather than deal with official entanglements. Too bad Raj was not a bit more forthcoming, forced admin's hand so to speak. Good work Bren, to bad the outlook is looking so gloomy.
