wiki is a great idea, onthefence.

i've sent a ton of people to this thread, but if you are new to the whole case it's quite overwhelming and sloppy.

if the images were named in the order they were shot,
something seems off about the 3rd blurry one.

22 frame .gif ani - pic2 and pic3 positioned over pic 1 and animated transparency in 10% increments.

seems to start rotating the opposite direction.

Good man.

I have in fact written to Billy Booth (UFOCB) and asked him to forward 'Jenna's email to me - or invite her to contact me direct.

All we need now is for ATS to drop the embargo on having our name mentioned!

Hmmm, but imho those photographs would be hard to fake.

Several possibilities that come to my mind would be:

1.) Some kind of remote-controlled (earthly ;-) device. But: How would it be propelled?

2.) It has been tied to a helicopter, etc. by means of a rope that has been removed in Photoshop. But this 'rope' must have been pretty long; therefore the craft would be very hard to control.

3.) The entire craft was modeled & rendered in some 3D app & then composited (atmospheric effects inclusive) into the photograph.

I don't know what is true. At least at first glance it looks genuine to me.

If *anyone* wants to compile some breakdowns and individual analysis segments - then please DO create specific threads for that purpose. If the demand warrants it - we can create an entire board dedicated to this research project.

And why not? After rotating counter-clockwise, it stops and then rotates clockwise.

Sorry, I goofed on the Ufocasebook v Earthfiles thing.

But I don't see names anywhere. "Jenna L from Saratoga" is no better than "Raj from Capitola" or the like. It's anonymous for all practical purposes until Ufocasebook releases more info.

That might indeed be a better idea than a wiki...

The problem with wikis is that anybody can change everything...
And with topics like this, that might just prove to be too much of a temptation to resist for some people...

Still, I could consider setting one up, should there be a genuine demand... though it's not my preferred option as I do fear it won't be workable.

Yeah, I think 145 pages for one single thread is a bit long (if I understood you properly).

Exactly....plus the amount of detailed analysis done in here is utterly fantastic. It deserves its own thread.

The professionalism of the work from the members here is bringing people to OM in drones, er....I mean droves! ;)

doesn't matter to me where, i'll lend a hand wherever.

as long as we get a cohesive, concise chronological breakdown of the when\where\who that someone who has never seen any of this can look and get a understanding in under a couple minutes of reading.

I am curious to know how many members we have that are going to Big basin this weekend to take this lady up on her offer?

Admin Any further word from Raj or the Capitola PD?

Numbers...did you ever answer my question about the two witnesses you claimed to find?

Please do tell how you can tell. I would think it all depends on the order in which the photos were taken and then there's the possibility that the object has done an almost complete rotation.

Sorry Admin. Feel free to move this reply to the new thread.

(Admin edit: - I can't move individual posts - only delete them! - so please can we *try* and put Big Basin posts in the right place ;) - Thanks! )

Hi Shads!

No, nothing from Raj since the other day - he was p1ssed off about his account being hacked and was trying to get some sense from flickr - his work is busy, family, etc,. but he says he is going to get his family to provide some witness statements, and he did say he would check out the board - but said he felt a bit "overwhelmed" with it all. I alerted him to the fact that Capitola PD are investigating this now - which may give him some reassurance re the 'night callers'... or, not.
